This is the 0-6400 MILS version of the MC-2G Global compass that is consistently our number 1 selling sighting mirror compass, and our "BEST PICK" for overall features.  This version features a bezel with a scale in MILS (0-6400), instead of the standard 0-360 degree scale.  The resolution on the bezel has a tick mark every 50 mils.

Basically, this mirror compass has every professional compass feature, plus a global needle! You can use the clear baseplate with maps, sight with the mirror, and never slow your stride with the global needle that accepts tilts up to 20 degrees (10 degrees in either direction) and still reads accurately. To top it all off, the global needle has a quicker dampening time than a standard needle.  Other features include an additional sighting hole for superior bearing accuracy, an adjustable declination correction scale, luminous bezel, luminous guidance points, convenient map scales, a round magnifying lens, a black nylon lanyard (with quick-release clip), and a built-in clinometer.

The baseplate is just like the metric version of the MC-2G, featuring the map scales of 1:25,000 km and 1:50,000 km.
