Security

The Compass Store is wholly owned by ROC Gear, Inc.  All online transactions at The Compass Store are handled with industry-standard 128-bit SSL encryption. When you enter your credit card number into the order form, it is transmitted across the Internet in an encrypted (scrambled) form, and we never actually see the full credit card number.

Warranty

ROC Gear warranties any product sold at The Compass Store for a minimum of one year from the date of purchase.  The original manufacturers of various products sold at The Compass Store may warranty some items beyond one year (as specified), and The Compass Store is available to assist in any such warranty claims still within the manufacturer's published limits. 

These warranties only extend to potential manufacturing defects of the purchased product, and do not extend to any other products or persons potentially damaged by said manufacturing defect.  ROC Gear assumes no liability for any damages or injuries caused by any manufacturing defect, use, or mis-use of any item purchased at The Compass Store.  Manufacturing defect claims do not include any product damage due to mis-use, unintended use, or reasonably expected wear.  For warranty claims, please reach out to us with the original purchasers name, purchase date, and the specific product involved.

Sales Tax

All Georgia residents are subject to an 8% sales tax.  Standard credit card purchases outside of Georgia are not taxed -- unless using Shop Pay as a payment method.  Shopify is required to collect all sales taxes for Shop Pay orders inside the USA.  If you are ordering for a tax-exempt organization you may email your certification to us to have your tax removed and/or credited.
